After breakfast, meet your driver-guide in Arusha or at Arusha Airport for a safari briefing. Travel through the Great Rift Valley and Karatu highlands, with a possible Ngorongoro viewpoint stop depending on timing. Enter Serengeti National Park and begin an en-route game drive through the Seronera region, known for strong resident wildlife, big cats and leopard sightings along the riverine areas.

Leave Central Serengeti after breakfast and drive north through changing Serengeti landscapes. Spend the day exploring the Northern Serengeti remote plains, riverbanks and rolling hills. This region is especially known for Mara River crossing possibilities during the right season, while also offering excellent resident wildlife. Leave Central Serengeti early with a packed lunch and continue toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Descend 600 metres into the crater for a concentrated wildlife drive across grasslands, forests and lake edges, looking for lions, elephants, buffalo, zebras, hippos and possible black rhino. After lunch, ascend to the rim and continue to Arusha or Kilimanjaro International Airport.
